Marathon Burger is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our first Los Angeles location. The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring a seamless and positive guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, the ability to inspire and manage a team, and a proven track record of organizational and problem-solving capabilities. While not required, familiarity with The Marathon brand and lifestyle is a plus!

Key Responsibilities:
Operations:
Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Supervise and coach team members to ensure consistent execution of service standards and food quality.
Monitor food and labor costs to achieve operational goals.

Guest Experience:
Ensure a positive and welcoming environment for all guests.
Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally.

Maintains consistent customer service focus always, showing pride of ownership and a sense of urgency to guests

Team Leadership:
Assist with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new team members.

trains, develops, and evaluates restaurant employees. Monitors staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent; ensures systems for training employees on workstations are fully implemented and adhered to by management and team members

Finance Management:
Assist in achieving sales and profitability goals.
Manage cash handling and daily financial reporting.
Control inventory and ordering to minimize waste.
Assist with analyzing restaurant operational and financial performance, quality and service to identify trends and consult with management on implementing action plans for improvement.

Monitors costs and adherence to budget and restaurant goals
Food Safety and Sanitation:
Maintain the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a restaurant environment, preferably in a fast-casual setting as a shift lead or manager
Must be familiar with all workstations and related Los Angeles health codes (grill, fryer, prep, fridge/freezer etc)
Must have current servsafe manager
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem Solving: Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.
Organization: Strong organizational and time management skills.
Passion: A genuine passion for the restaurant industry and providing excellent guest service.
Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English. Spanish bi-lingual is a plus.
