Job Summary:
Responsible for answering client calls, client in-takes, scheduling appointments, reading & responding to emails, faxing, scanning, opening new files, subpoena records, preparation & filing of court documents, interact with adjusters, work within case management system, working closely with clerks assigned and various office clerical duties.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Proofread and edit documents for accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
• Maintain organized files and records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
• Provide clerical support such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling correspondence including opening new cases.
• Communicate with clients regarding the status of their case.
• Communicate with Potential New Clients conducting intake interviews and requesting relevant documents from them so that the attorney can evaluate the potential case.
• Request medical records and bills.
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information for case preparation.
• Support the team in various administrative tasks as needed.
• File and serve pleadings and other legal documents.
• Interface with Potential New Clients, including conducting an initial intake interview.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Minimum Experience: 2 years in the Personal Injury legal field is required.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
• Minimum Education: High School diploma/ GED
