We are in the process of developing a Highly Sophisticated Rolodex, such that we can call professionals for specific jobs as they pop up. Some are remote, some are on site. Some are international, some are per diem. Some placements with the talent agency, some are placed on Trace Engineering projects. We are looking for people with deep resumes, extensive experience, and are capable of describing in fine detail how they apply their skills to achieve efficient success. We are looking for brutally honest individuals who may have normally been ostracized as a whistle blower. Yes, we mean you who was fired for doing the right thing. We would like to speak to you.
We fully understand the landscape over the last 10-15 years in all of the high-tech industries. Our jobs were shipped away, our seats at home sold to billionaire bank accounts, and large cap companies insulting our intelligence with blatant lies. Trace Engineering seeks these individuals because they have strong will, accept feedback, adapt very quickly, and maintain composure. These skills are developed under pressure and for long duration. Usually requiring very highly skilled individuals who often run the show as their boss gets all the credit. The people we seek are teachers, but they know not to teach unless they are asked to do so. They are clean cut and carry no personal baggage. These abilities are required when changing processes, outing fraudsters, and correcting accounting magic. When correcting these problems, people are fired, often leave their positions, or will move to another department where they start chaos again. These abilities go into the psychological aspect of project management and will require you to report on client mood and feelings about your performance. In exchange, you get to see the absolute extreme limit of human knowledge and capability while you pick up life-changing skills.
All applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Ability to start an LLC (you will need one to be placed on the job, we will help you get one)
2. Understand how to run your own business (tracking hours, deliverables, invoices, and contracts)
3. Self-sufficient (weekly meetings only, and follow up on problems only, but we expect timely organized delivery)
4. Able to drive results, run team meetings, and hold clients to account
5. Extremely organized, to a fault, such that your colleagues complain, (yes, we want to talk to you)
6. Ability to track details with a photographic type memory, or excellent memory techniques
7. Prepared for meetings (no pulling up solid models while clients watch expensive minutes tick by)
8. Ability to document and present work product directly to Executives and Management
9. Ability to understand internal conflict, how to avoid accepting negativity, and how to resist impact on project scope
10. Ability to transform chaos into order with grace and tact
There will be other criteria based on the position, but this gives you a distinct idea what these positions require. These jobs entail owning the worst projects you can possibly imagine. Everything from explosions on factory floors, chemicals that spontaneously ignite, human implantable recalled by the FDA, tissue and blood, fraudulent validation corrections, clean room remediation, recalls, wacky robots, faulty or poorly designed automation, and soon, government stuff. We do get the positive side of things, but it is always after we tackle the worst project our client faces.

You must possess the actual skills for the titles above. Do not apply if you did not own the worst and have been recognized for your ability to drive successful completion. You must possess superior professional skills, understand human emotions, and be skilled at disarming tense situations. You must be in the top performers of the title and have full understanding of the skills required to ascend quickly. These are touchy projects with decent pay and require acumen to portray Trace Engineering as a firm above the rest.
You must be very computer literate. If you are like me, you have a custom configuration for Microsoft Apps, and you know a lot of the hidden stuff for massive efficiency boosts. You must be fully Microsoft literate requiring a minimum theoretical grade: (B+) Word, (A) Excel, (B+) Outlook, (A+) Power Point, (A+) Teams. If you have vendor relations in your position, you will have to explain your strategies for successful design transfers. You will wear a collared shirt on Teams, in every meeting, business casual with clients, formal business with professional Executives.

We are looking for the individual who knows their stuff and is very willing to get up to speed on any item on the list. The individual who will speak their mind in a constructive manner by speaking truth with skill. If you fully obtain a contract with a client, of course there is a bonus. If you bring a new client, and they sign a contract, of course there is a bonus. If you are in Sales, do not apply unless you have a long history of selling high-tech contracts, expensive equipment, with high dollar price tags. We need someone who can land clients with their connections within industry, and who is fully trusted with their partners.

We only post in Carlsbad/San Diego but we will accept professionals in other areas like Boston, Salt Lake City, Pheonix, San Fransico, etc... We do not believe in social media and the negative influence on business practice because we know it is a waste of time, energy, and money...
