Roshanian & Associates, Inc. is looking for an energetic, self-motivated and innovative individual to fill an Electrical Designer/Drafter position. The candidate must perform all Electrical Designer/Drafter responsibilities for a project from conception to completion under supervision of Senior Electrical Engineer, PE. The person will be heavily involved in the design of various project types, including K-12 schools and higher education.
HIRE DATE: March 16, 2025 or April 1, 2025 based on availability of the candidate
Must Have Qualifications
· Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, BIM 360, and AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Software's.
· Minimum 5 years of Electrical Drafter/Design experience
· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work and collaborate with internal and external teams
Responsibilities
· Design Lighting, Power, Fire Alarm and Low Voltage Systems with direction from the Senior Electrical Engineer, PE
· Complete Design/Drafting documents in Autodesk Revit, BIM 360, and AutoCAD Software's as directed.
· Occasional Client communications, as directed by Senior Engineer
· Assist in job site investigations
· Basic familiarity with related codes
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred
· Experience in education projects
