Cargo Cafe is a vibrant, community-focused coffee shop located in the heart of the Mission Valley only open Monday-Friday!
Are you passionate about crafting high-quality food in a kitchen environment? Our cafe is expanding our wholesale production, and we’re looking for a dedicated Kitchen Production Team Member to help prepare and package our signature frozen and fresh products for all cafes.
What You’ll Do:
Assist in the preparation, cooking, and packaging of wholesale food products.
Follow recipes and portioning guidelines to maintain consistency and quality.
Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Label and organize products for distribution.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Assist with inventory and ingredient prep as needed.
Be able to drive to delivery the food (car provided/driver license need)
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a kitchen or food prep environment is a must
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Strong commitment to punctuality, cleanliness, and reliability.
Possess knowledge of safe food-handling, sanitary kitchen conditions and proper hand washing techniques
Ability to follow recipes and work efficiently in a high-volume setting.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Schedule: Saturday to Wednesday
Saturday & Sunday 7am-3pm (flexible hours)
Monday-Wednesday 2pm-9pm (flexible hours)
✅Off - Thursdays & Fridays
Skills:
Able to lift 30-50 lbs.
Able to stand, walk, lift, twist and bend for up to 8 hours a day
