Farm Worker – Growing with Us on a Unique Farm Journey (San Bernadino)

R&R Ranch

compensation: Negotiable
employment type: employee's choice
job title: Farm & Ranch Manager Hand on
Are you passionate about animals, farming, and being part of something special from the ground up? We’re looking for a dedicated farm worker to join our small farm in Southern California. This isn’t just a job — it’s an opportunity to grow with us as we build a unique farm experience step by step.

About Our Farm:
This farm is a labor of love, and we’re excited to develop it over time. Right now, our focus is on caring for livestock like goats, sheep, and chickens, but we have a vision to expand into unique animals like miniature cows and donkeys. In the future, we’d love to explore things like farm visits, therapy programs, and hosting events — but it’ll be a gradual journey, and we’re looking for the right person to help make it happen.

What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking someone who:

Loves working with animals and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty.

Is reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn.

Can handle daily farm tasks like feeding, cleaning, and caring for livestock.

Shares an interest in growing with the farm and is open to new ideas as we expand.

What We Offer:

A unique opportunity to be part of a farm from the ground up.

The chance to help shape future projects, whether that’s breeding programs, animal-assisted therapy, or farm events.

A place to live rent-free.

Flexible work environment with room for growth as the farm grows.

What to Expect:
In the beginning, the work will be light — feeding a handful of sheep, a few goats, and some chickens twice a day, which takes about an hour daily. As we get more structure and animals, responsibilities may grow.

We estimate it’ll take about 6 to 8 months before the farm reaches a point of making some profit and creating steady income. In the meantime, you’re welcome to work locally and have other income while we grow, with the intention of transitioning to full-time work at the ranch as things develop.

How to Apply:
If this sounds like something you’d love to be a part of, we’d love to hear from you! Please send a message telling us a little about yourself, your experience with animals or farm work, and why you’re excited about this opportunity.

We’re not looking for someone who needs a job just to make money right away — we’re looking for someone who believes in the vision and wants to grow with us. We’ll take things day by day and see what works. If you’re ready to be part of a growing dream, we can’t wait to meet you.

Apply now and let’s build something special together!
