Our company is currently looking for a motivated addition to our team as the Manager of Quality Assurance. This is an in-person position at our warehouse in Stanton, CA. In this position, you will ensure that all external and internal requirements are met before our product reaches our customers. We are looking for an individual that can make management level decisions independently based on customer criteria and experience. The goal is to assure the highest quality of our operations and services toward the long-term success of team members, customers, and our business.

Responsibilities
• Leading, developing and implementing effective quality management systems, ISO 9001, AS9100, AS 9145, ITAR
• Update UL standards testing and audits
• Ensures compliance to industry, regulatory, and statutory standards including, but not limited to DOD, FAA, federal, state, and local regulations
• Supports Quality Corrective Action Board (CAB) and Zero-Defect Planning (ZDP) implementation to drive Quality performance and a Zero Defect/Escape mentality
• Develop, lead and implement quality systems for preventing nonconforming product and recurrence using planning, material review, corrective action and quality reporting.
• Monitor all operations that affect quality
• Supervise and guide technicians and other staff as required
• Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output
• Resolve customer concerns, complaints and feedback on quality
• Manage customer audits, ISO audits and internal audits
• Report all malfunctions to production manager, and operators to ensure immediate action
• Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data
• Review current standards and policies
• Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation
• Ensure products meet or exceed customer requirements and regulatory requirements
• Manage on-site inspections
• Continually improve quality through analyzing, identifying, and eliminating root causes of quality issues
• Apply and evaluate testing and inspection methods
• Contract review
• Review and approve Fare Article Inspection Review (FAIR)
• Manage day to day department activities
• Ensure a safe and healthy work environment
• Review cert packs, sign certs of conformance
• Write Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and disposition returns (RMA Process)

Skills
• Possess a quality first mentality
• Proven experience as a quality assurance manager or relevant role
• Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards for electronic components
• Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods
• Good knowledge of MS Office and databases
• Outstanding communication skills (verbally and written)
• Great attention to detail and a results driven approach
• Strong customer service skills (courtesy, promptness, cooperation, collaboration)
