The Lead Installer is responsible for overseeing and managing the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves ensuring projects are completed efficiently, on time, and according to company standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive HVAC experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of installers to complete HVAC installations for residential and commercial clients.
• Install, modify, and maintain HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and electrical connections.
• Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturer instructions.
• Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Conduct system tests to ensure functionality and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Train and mentor junior installers to develop their technical skills and knowledge.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, customers, and team members.
• Maintain an organized work environment and manage tools, materials, and equipment.
• Document and report project progress, including any delays or challenges.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of HVAC installation experience, with at least 1-3 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• EPA Certification preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and installation best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
