Part-Time Marketing Position – Fabric Merchants, Inc. (Boyle Heights, Los Angeles)
Fabric Merchants, Inc. is looking for a part-time marketing professional to join our team! We are a leading wholesale fabric company based in Boyle Heights, just east of Downtown Los Angeles. If you have strong marketing skills, a passion for social media, and experience promoting businesses online, we want to hear from you!
Job Details:
Hours: Minimum 20 hours per week in-office (some remote work possible).
Location: Boyle Heights, Los Angeles. Must be able to work on-site.
Start Date: Immediate hire.
Pay: $22–$28+/hour, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute seasonal marketing plans for fabric promotions.
Manage and grow our presence on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and more.
Write engaging blogs and email newsletters to promote our wholesale fabrics.
Create marketing materials using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
Utilize AI tools like ChatGPT for content creation.
Optimize website content with basic SEO strategies.
Monitor Google Analytics and social media insights to track performance.
Run paid advertising campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads).
Assist with product photography and video editing for social media and website updates.
Qualifications:
Marketing experience required (recent graduates welcome).
Strong social media and content creation skills.
Experience in wholesale or e-commerce marketing is a plus.
Basic knowledge of email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, etc.).
Familiarity with WooCommerce or Shopify is a plus.
Self-motivated and able to work independently while bringing creative ideas.
Fabric or fashion industry experience is a plus but not required.
