We are holding open interviews to add members our culinary team, including the first team for Bianchi, the new Italian restaurant set to debut at the Bahia Resort Hotel in late May 2025!

Bianchi at the Bahia Resort Hotel is an exciting new restaurant concept from Evans Hotels, set to open in late May 2025. Specializing in Italian cuisine, artisanal pizza, and carefully crafted drinks, Bianchi will highlight the finest artisan ingredients, authentic Italian flavors, and traditional cooking techniques. Designed with a relaxed, casual ambiance, the restaurant will offer a warm, welcoming atmosphere where genuine hospitality takes center stage, inviting guests to indulge in the spirit of La Dolce Vita.


WHEN: Tuesday 4/1/2025 | 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

WHERE: Bahia Hotel Resort 998 West Mission Bay Drive, San Diego CA 92109

WHAT: We will hold open interviews, and each qualified attendee will interview with a hiring manager. Dress to impress (business formal is strongly encouraged), print a copy of your resume, and bring you’re a-game as offers will be made on-the-spot.

HIRING FOR THE FOLLOWING ROLES:

• Line Cook III (FT) (AM and/or PM) - Earn up to $25.35 ($23.20 + kitchen appreciation bonus)
• Pastry Cook II (FT) (AM/PM) - Earn up to $26.45 ($24.30/hr DOE + kitchen appreciation bonus)
• Lead Pizzaiolo (FT) (AM/PM) - Earn up to $27.50 ($25.35/hr + kitchen appreciation bonus)
• Sous Chef (FT) - $70,000 - $80,000 DOE

**Hourly Culinary/Stewarding receives an average of $2.15/hr. via 3% outlets’ revenue kitchen appreciation bonus! Varies per business levels paycheck to paycheck.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Refer to each position for additional qualifications. Candidates will only be interviewed if they meet the qualifications and have the shift availability for the position of interest.
• Previous similar position in a hotel, or similar business entity preferred.
• Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
• Ability to always maintain a friendly, professional, team-oriented, positive demeanor and diplomatic attitude, especially under stress or challenges.
• Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• The following position will be filled in accordance with the process set forth in California Labor Code Section 2810.8 and San Diego Municipal Code 311.0101 et. seq.

PERSONAL APPEARANCE
