Now Hiring: Experienced Production Planner
Join our team! We're looking for an experienced Production Planner to collaborate with cross-functional teams in developing and executing production schedules that align with customer requirements and production goals. This role demands a strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, materials, and scheduling methodologies to ensure a smooth workflow and timely deliveries.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop production schedules that meet customer requirements and production targets.
- Creates manufacturing process plans/routers.
- Develops and releases print packages and material requests.
- Communicates project status and progress to management, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Releases production orders on time.
- Communicates with internal departments to maintain the flow of materials.
- Maintains and analyzes production data (production rates, materials usage, labor hours) to identify areas for improvement and optimize processes.
- Monitors and maintains inventory levels, updating the MRP database.
- Ensures all work complies with safety, quality, and environmental standards and regulations.
- Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes, materials, and components.
- Experience in lot sizing, material planning, and production scheduling.
- Experience working with bills of material (BOMs) and creating travelers/work instructions.
- Experience with 3D models is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, PDF editing software, Outlook, Zoom, MRP databases, and general computer applications.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record (company vehicle use required).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Full-time Shifts: Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:30pm or 7:00am-4:30pm (every other Friday off)
Hourly Pay Range
Planner I: $20.00 - $26.50
Planner II: $26.50 - $33.50

Physical Demands: Job duties are primarily performed in a temperature-controlled office environment, with some exposure to an open warehouse environment (temperature variations, noise, vibrations, fumes, and chemicals).
- Repetitive motion of wrists, hands and fingers.
- Prolonged periods of sitting.
- Occasional standing, walking, bending and driving.
- Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 20 lbs (rarely up to 50 lbs).
ITAR Requirement: This position requires the use of information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). The candidate must be a U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines U.S. persons as U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents (i.e., Green Card holders), and some refugees.
