We’re seeking a California-licensed attorney or a highly experienced senior paralegal to assist with drafting legal documents for an active civil litigation case. This is a project-based contract role, ideal for someone local with strong legal writing skills and a deep understanding of California civil procedure.
Role Overview:
You’ll support our lead attorney by preparing key litigation documents with accuracy, strategy, and professionalism. This includes:
Discovery requests and responses
Complaints, claims, and other legal filings
Motions, oppositions, and declarations
Legal correspondence and demand letters
Research memos and supporting documents
What We’re Looking For:
Licensed to practice law in California (required)
Located in or near San Diego (required or strongly preferred)
Extensive experience drafting civil litigation documents
Solid knowledge of California Rules of Civil Procedure
Exceptional legal writing, research, and editing skills
Professional, discreet, and detail-oriented
Compensation:
Contract role
Pay based on experience and quality of work
