We’re seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Accounts Receivable / Payable Administrator to join our professional office team in Escondido. What You’ll Do:
• Provide accounting support to both field operations and the office-based project team
• Manage A/R and A/P processes with precision and accuracy
• Work closely with the CFO and CEO on various accounting tasks
• Prepare customer invoicing using AIA billing formats (G702/G703)
• Enter invoices into online billing platforms and reconcile accounts
• Maintain both electronic and paper filing systems to company standards
• Support compliance requirements, including certified payroll, DIR, and LCP (preferred)
• Coordinate with project teams to gather necessary documentation
• Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• Take ownership of tasks and work independently to resolve issues
• Use QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite daily (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Knowledge of SupplyPro is a plus
What We’re Looking For:
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s in Accounting or Business preferred
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in A/R and A/P processing
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is a must
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Familiarity with the construction industry is a plus
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Typing speed of 50+ WPM with high accuracy
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Able to pass a background check and drug screening
