The Solar Sage is an Independent Energy Broker partnered with Powur PBC for nationwide solar project fulfillment. In addition to providing customized consulting to homeowners, we help recruit and train new appointment setters and energy consultants nationwide.
This part-time role is ideal for anyone with a passion for sustainability and clean energy solutions. We provide comprehensive training and mentorship.
Position Overview:
As a Solar Advocate, you will play a crucial role in our outreach efforts by engaging with potential customers to educate them about the benefits of solar energy. Your primary responsibility will be to schedule appointments for our sales consultants with homeowners interested in exploring solar solutions. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a greener future while developing your career in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
--Lead Generation: Proactively identify and approach potential customers through door-to-door canvassing, community events, and other outreach methods to generate interest in solar energy solutions.
--Educate Homeowners: Clearly communicate the bullet points about programs available in their area and the general financial benefits
--Appointment Setting: Schedule qualified appointments for our sales consultants with homeowners who have expressed interest in learning more about our solar offerings.
--Data Management: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and appointment schedules using our CRM system.
--Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure a seamless transition from initial contact to consultation.
Qualifications:
--Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with diverse individuals.
--Motivation and Resilience: Self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to handle rejection professionally.
--Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage schedules and maintain accurate records.
--Experience: Previous experience in sales, customer service, or appointment setting is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
--Passion for Sustainability: A genuine interest in renewable energy and commitment to promoting sustainable practices.
