We are seeking an experienced Montessori-trained teacher to join our team and help shape young minds through interactive, student-led learning experiences.
Position: Montessori Teacher (Elementary - Ages 5-12)
Location: Laguna Niguel, CA
Job Type: Part-time or Full-time (flexible based on availability)
Start Date: August 2025 (Enrollment for 2025/2026 school year)
What You’ll Do:
- Lead engaging, multi-age group learning sessions (K-1 or 4-5) in an academically rich and hands-on environment.
- Develop personalized learning plans that support individual student progress.
- Use Montessori methods alongside other modern teaching approaches to create a stimulating, interactive classroom.
- Foster critical thinking, independence, and leadership in students.
- Collaborate with a team of dedicated educators to continuously innovate and refine teaching strategies.
- Communicate with parents about student progress in a supportive and professional manner.
What we are looking for:
- Montessori certification (AMS or AMI) preferred; open to candidates with strong Montessori experience.
- 3+ years of teaching experience in an elementary Montessori or innovative learning setting.
- Passion for hands-on, student-centered learning and academic excellence.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.
- Strong classroom management and the ability to foster a love for learning.
