FULL-TIME ON-SITE APARTMENT MANAGER- VAN NUYS, CA. (100 UNITS +)
COMPENSATION:
PAY RANGE OF $21.00 -$25.00 PER HOUR BASED ON EXPERIENCE
1-2 BED-ROOM APT. TO BE LEASED BASED ON AND TERMS AND CONDITIONS
SCHEDULE M-F 9AM – 6PM (MUST ME AVAILABLE IF BUILDING EMERGENCY AFTER HOURS)
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
At least (3) years of experience in apartment management, with a strong foundation in leasing and sales. (please include relevant experience in your resume).
A good credit history. Background Check and credit check will be done.
Must be Bi-lingual (Spanish)
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge of Fair Housing laws
Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Quickbooks is required.
A professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude.
JOB DUTIES:
Leasing and Sales: Showcase available apartments, prepare and execute leases, and manage rent collection.
Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, work with vendors and maintenance staff, and ensure the cleanliness and appeal of common areas, and schedule turnovers for vacant apartments to ensure timely completion.
Vendor & Maintenance Coordination.
Ensure common areas are clean and well-maintained
Property Inspections & Maintenance: Conduct regular property walks to identify and address maintenance issues. Inspect vacant units and coordinate necessary repairs with vendors.
Tenant Relations & Communication: Handle tenant concerns and complaints professionally and promptly.
Rent Collection & Financial Management: Collect rent payments, issue late notices when necessary, process invoices, and maintain accurate records of payments and work orders.
Property Advertising & Vacancy Management: Advertise available units, conduct apartment showings for prospective tenants, and assist with the leasing process.
