Our La Mirada estimating team is looking for a strong assistant to help complete important estimating and project management tasks. This support will help produce competitive bids, enhance quality projects, and strengthen customer relationships.

No industry experience necessary as you will be trained.

Duties:
• Driving around Southern California to evaluate, measure and take pictures of job sites
• Attending pre-construction meetings and taking detailed notes
• Running various errands for projects like picking up plans and gathering/returning key fobs for gates
• Conducting job/site walks with photos and doing accurate measurements to calculate square footages
• Having computer proficiency
• Accurate input of numerical data and good grammar/spelling
• Contacting suppliers/subs for quotes and submittals
• Meeting paving crews on-site when estimators are double-booked
• Helping build customer relationships through appreciation visits and meals
• Working with a team to collaborate effectively through the lifecycle of each project
• Working overtime when needed to ensure success

Hours: Full-Time, Monday-Friday; 7:30am-4:30pm. Additional hours/days may be needed.
Compensation: Starting at $23/hour, Depending on Experience; Weekly pay
Reports to: Vice President/Sales Manager
Benefits: Mileage reimbursement/Company vehicle (based on clean driving record and background check), company cell phone, health benefits eligibility after 90-days, 401K option after one year of employment with company matching; paid vacation and sick time off.
