Daily Responsibilities Include:
-Execute all boat hauling, blocking & launching
-Manage and actively complete all projects in the yard
-Actively supervise all boatyard employee tasks
-Hands-on Project Management and active completion of boat maintenance & repairs, including but not limited to, sanding, grinding, bottom painting, thru-hulls, packing glands, cutlass bearings, props, shafts, trim tabs etc.
-Identifying, providing and tracking necessary labor & materials to execute the projects
-Outsourcing & ordering parts & materials for project completion, as needed
-Ensuring a variety of daily boatyard procedures are completed
Job Requirements:
-Previous supervisory experience in a boatyard
-Previous active boat maintenance experience
-Experience hauling & blocking boats using slings & stands
-Must have personal hand tools, power tools and PPE
-Ability to do physical labor & potentially strenuous physical tasks
-Ability to safely climb ladders and step-stools
-Ability to safely enter & navigate small, enclosed spaces
Pay Range:
$36+ / hr. Dependent on Experience
