About you

You’re an independent, freelance digital marketing designer with availability 2–3 days/week to work on multiple marketing design projects. You’re interested in joining a small, fully distributed team, and have experience managing your own schedule. When you take on a project, you commit to it. 

Required experience & abilities:

3+ years as a digital marketing designer working on digital products (marketing websites, landing pages, email marketing, digital ads, etc.)

• Fluent in Figma

• Experience creating and/or working within existing design systems and brand guidelines

• Impeccable written and oral communication

• Ability to present and defend work, and share the "why" behind the “what” 

• Ability to join daily standup calls during business hours in the US (between 10 AM EST and 4 PM PST), where our clients are based

• Willingness to sign an NDA (we don’t require it, but sometimes our clients do)

Preferred qualifications:

• Functional knowledge of HTML/CSS

• Branding & identity experience

• Digital product design experience

• Experience designing across diverse brands and industries

Houston is a small design agency with big projects. We’re in a growth spurt. We are nimble and passionate — and our work is shared and inspiring. We’re fully distributed, and our clients are mostly US-based. 

Our client projects typically fall into one of two buckets:

• Brand Strategy Development for Mid-Market Companies — research and development of an updated brand strategy and marketing plan for mid-market companies and then often the execution and launch of that plan.

• Digital Product Design for Startups — designing web and mobile apps for new startups looking to launch an MVP product into the marketplace and need a design partner.
