Our creative and energetic kitchen staff prepare delicious meals--the heart and soul of the camp. As a breakfast cook, you will start everyone’s day with a nutritious hot meal. A varied and delicious menu, well prepared and presented, is key to our success.
The Cook must be able to follow instructions in cooking and deliver well-prepared meals. They must be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important. Having knowledge of Dietary needs as well as Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten Free dishes is a plus.
Under the supervision of the Kitchen Supervisor, the Cook prepares and cooks food items to ensure the highest quality service and food experience for campers. They help keep the kitchen organized and running efficiently. They ensure proper food handling, sanitation and follow food storage procedures. Additional duties will be assigned as needed in Kitchen, as well as other departments in camp. We work as a team to get all tasks accomplished in camp including housekeeping and grounds support.
Here at Camp de Benneville Pines, we pride ourselves on having a clean and safe environment for all ages. We have been in business since 1961. Lodging is provided, and great food is available whenever the kitchen is up and running. Enjoy hiking, swimming, hot tubbing, fishing, mountain biking when the camp is closed to campers. In the winter months you will find joy in snowshoeing, snow playing and skiing at the local ski resort…..or possibly, sleeping like a bear in a warm, snug bed in your cozy bedroom.
