JOB DESCRIPTION
Front Desk Clerk checks-in/out guests and takes room reservations
No computers - hand transcript only
Verifies cash & credit card transactions
Collect payments and provide change for guest.
Answer inquiries pertaining to the motels rates and amenities.
Follow through on guest requests and/or concerns in a timely manner.
Handle and resolve customer complaints.
Perform other duties as assigned.
SKILLS
Required:
Money handling skills.
Ability to accurately perform simple mathematical calculations.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Operate office machinery (i.e., credit card machine, copy machine, fax machine).
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred:
Previous Front Desk Clerk experience in the hotel/motel industry
Knowledge of front desk procedures and guest services.
