SKILLS: Proficiency in operating CNC machines, including knowledge of Fanuc controls
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles is a plus
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in measurements and machining operations
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations according to blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders. Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency. Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges and coordinate measuring machines
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine tools, tooling, and fixtures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures
