This position is charged with the maintenance of our buildings and coordination of all campus activities under the direction of the Rector and Operations Manager.
The Facilities Coordinator serves to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and readiness of Church facilities to enable the work and ministry of the congregation and to create a pleasant atmosphere for members, guests, and staff. This includes set-up and tear down of tables and chairs for all events on our campus. The Facilities Coordinator will advise the Operations Manager and the Rector of dangers/concerns about the condition and maintenance of buildings and grounds.
Supervision
The Facilities Coordinator works for the Rector (as staff) and reports to the Operations Manager. Other members of the staff may occasionally request assistance when needs arise in their areas of ministry. We are a close staff who are dependent upon each other to carry out both our individual and church-wide ministries as a team.
Scheduled Work Hours: 20-25 per week
While there are clearly defined and specific needs and hours for each day, this position is unique in that the successful candidate will need to be somewhat flexible, with availability to work a variety of hours as events on our campus require. Overtime is seldom necessary and will be compensated for as legally required. The Facilities Coordinator will meet with the Operations Manager weekly to assess the needs of our campus events and be flexible enough with their schedule to meet those needs.
