This position is for a part-time Kitchen Assistant at the senior adult lunch program hosted by the Poway Community Center. Working hours are from 8:30am to 1:30pm. The primary responsibility is to prepare and serve meals to local seniors, making their dining experience enjoyable and fulfilling.Responsibilities
• Work from 8:30am to 1:30pm, Monday through Friday.
• Assist in preparing and serving a delicious meal from 11:00am to 12:30pm.
• Prepare coffee, decaf, and set up the drink station with cups and water.
• Prepare the kitchen for serving and participate in the food service.
• Wash and replace dishes as they are returned.
• Assist the Chef with food plating of salads and desserts.
• Help with kitchen inventory as directed by the Chef.
• Maintain cleanliness of refrigerators and freezers, and ensure food is rotated properly.
