We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wig Repair & Ventilation Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on restoring and maintaining wigs with precision and care, with a strong emphasis on ventilation work—replacing or adding hair strands to lace or base materials to ensure a natural, full appearance. The ideal candidate is experienced in both wig repair and ventilating techniques, passionate about hair artistry, and dedicated to helping clients feel their best.
Assess and repair wigs, including lace tears, bald spots, thinning areas, and cap damage
Perform expert ventilation work, including knotting individual strands into lace or other bases to restore hairlines, fill in sparse areas, or create custom parts
Restore density and structure to worn or damaged wigs while preserving natural appearance
Re-attach or reinforce wefts, adjust cap structures, and replace worn lace when necessary
Match hair color, texture, curl pattern, and density to ensure seamless repairs and additions
Clean, deep-condition, detangle, and style wigs to client specifications
Provide consultations on wig maintenance, repair needs, and customizations
Maintain and organize repair tools, ventilation needles, lace bases, and replacement hair inventory
Collaborate with Hair Recovery Specialists and stylists to deliver high-quality, confidence-boosting results
