Position Summary
The Warehouse/Dispatch Manager oversees and manages the daily operations of our warehouse and dispatch functions. This role will focus on ensuring smooth, efficient operations, optimizing the flow of goods from the warehouse to the customers, and leading a team to meet both productivity and safety goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
o Oversee and manage all warehouse activities, including inventory control, order fulfillment, receiving, stocking, and shipping of products.
o Coordinate and supervise the loading/unloading of shipments to and from the warehouse.
o Coordinate the dispatch of goods to customers and other departments in a timely and accurate manner.
o Manage the scheduling and routing of deliveries to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
o Maintain fleet of five trucks/automobiles by completing mechanical/safety checklist and scheduling maintenance when needed.
o Assist with preparation of Frozen goods and building pallets.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
o High School Diploma or equivalent.
o Proven experience in warehouse, dispatch, or logistics management.
o Accuracy in computer and paper work.
o Strong leadership and team management abilities.
o Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
o Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage logistics challenges.
o Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
