Gourmet Blends is a family owned company that creates the Best Balsamic Vinegar and Olive Oils Ever! We are looking for a dependable, motivated and experienced person that can come in and work in our Logistics department and Warehouse operations. We need a team player that is able to work in different departments as needed and can follow directions well.
Position Description -- This person will be responsible for Logistics from Retail to Distribution (using Ltl/USPS/FedEx/UPS software is a plus). This position will also be responsible for Warehouse Organization/Maintenance and can also have Driving duties that includes setting up/tearing down Events/Shows/ and Farmer's Markets.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Ability to use Ltl/USPS/FEDEX/UPS software for Logistics
- Basic use of MS WORD/EXCEL/OUTLOOK
- Warehouse Maintenance and Organization
- Loading/ Unloading product and materials in Company vehicles
- Driving to Set-up or Tear-down Farmer's Markets, and Events, in Southern California
- Unloading pallets and Restocking shelves
- Other Duties as required
Requirements:
- Valid CA driver's license with a good driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to bend and lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements
- Must have great comprehension skills
- Basic computer operation knowledge
- Basic Knowledge of Microsoft office
- Good communication skills
- Available to work flexible hours, including over-time, and weekends when needed.
Minimum Education Requirements:
- Associate Degree is a plus, but not required.
- High School diploma or equivalent work experience
