Position Title: Parts Fulfillment Coordinator

Job Overview
The Parts Fulfillment Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the parts department, ensuring efficient management of inventory, and providing support to the service team regarding parts identification and usage. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, including the ability to operate a forklift unsupervised, and will be adept at managing high-volume shipments while maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Management
o Organize and maintain an accurate inventory of all parts.
o Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
o Implement best practices for inventory control to optimize storage space and accessibility.
2. Shipping and Receiving
o Pick, pack, label, and prepare 50+ shipments daily with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
o Coordinate with shipping carriers, including FedEx, UPS, and USPS to ensure timely delivery of parts.
o Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damage or discrepancies, and update inventory records accordingly.
3. Forklift Operation
o Operate a forklift unsupervised in compliance with safety regulations.
o Ensure proper handling of materials to prevent damage during transportation within the warehouse.
4. Support for Service Team
o Act as a resource for the service team regarding parts availability and specifications.
o Read and understand product service manuals to accurately identify required parts for repairs or maintenance.
o Assist in training service personnel on parts identification and usage.
5. Mechanical Knowledge:
o Utilize mechanical knowledge to assist in identifying parts that may not be clearly labeled or documented.
o Provide insights on part compatibility and alternatives when necessary.
6. Reporting
o Generate reports on inventory levels, shipment statuses, and departmental performance metrics.
o Provide feedback to management on potential improvements in processes or systems.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or supply chain management is preferred.
• Proven experience in warehouse operations or parts management.
• Valid forklift operator certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly throughout the workday.
• Capability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
Work Environment
This position operates in a warehouse environment where exposure to noise from machinery may occur. Safety protocols must be followed at all times.
