Job Description: We are looking for a reliable and experienced Part-Time Mechanic/Technician to work in our warehouse three days a week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and assembling low-speed vehicles such as golf carts, tricycle cargo trucks, and UTVs, as well as performing service and maintenance tasks for our products. This role is essential in ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall success of our operations. The role also involves working with electrical components and wiring systems, ensuring the proper integration of electric motors to maintain optimal vehicle performance.
Key Responsibilities:
-Build and assemble golf carts, tricycle cargo trucks, and UATVs according to specifications and quality standards
-Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Cabase products
-Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently
-Oversee and maintain an organized inventory of parts and tools, ensuring timely reordering to prevent shortages
-Conduct regular stock audits and update inventory records to ensure accuracy and efficiency
-Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of assembly and service tasks
-Provide feedback to improve assembly processes and vehicle performance
Qualifications:
-Proven experience as a mechanic/technician specializing in the repair and maintenance of equipment, with a preference in the powersports vehicle industry
-Forklift certification preferred
-Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
-Expertise in electrical wiring, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair
-Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
-Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
-Ability to work in a team environment
-Physical ability to lift and move heavy components; able to lift at least 50lbs unassisted
-Mandarin or Spanish is a plus
