Job Description
Patio Pools of Houston is a commercial swimming pool and fountain design & build firm who has been in business for more than 50 years. We operate solely in Texas with some projects built in other Texas cities. Our continued success has created a need for a construction employee who will perform pool piping installation, tile installation, stone installation, and miscellaneous tasks. The new employee will arrive to the office and drive a company truck to the job site to perform the daily duties with other skilled tradesmen, and the following activities:
+ Perform physical labor to complete daily tasks
+ Install pool pipe and fittings, ditching, backfill
+ Drive company vehicle to job sites to perform daily duties
+ Layout, stake, build wood forms
+ Occasionally install masonry block, mortar, concrete, tile, stone, and grout
+ Miscellaneous pool related construction tasks
+ Complete written forms (daily reports, safety, etc.)
+ Work Saturdays when work load permits
+ No Sunday work. No after hours work.
+ Occasional drive to other city and return home on same day or stay 1 to 4 nights.
Requirements:
+ Must have construction experience while working outside in Houston weather
+ Must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing
+ Multi-lingual English and Spanish are required
+ Must have good verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
+ Must have dependable transportation
+ Must be at least 25 years of age
+ Must be able to meet all physical requirements
+ Daily work starts at 7:00AM
+ Must be able to read and write in English
+ This position requires 15% travel, which includes an overnight stay in Texas (e.g.: San Antonio)
