Stage House Tavern in Scotch Plains is looking to hire an experienced line cook. Must be flexible to work day or night shifts and weekend shifts are required.
Responsibilities:
*Be meticulously clean and aware of all food safety standards
*Follow recipes accurately, understanding and utilizing volumetric measurements
*Communicate effectively and directly with the Chefs and front of house managers.
*Maintain organization and cleanliness of the kitchen, including dry storage, freezers and fridges
*Conduct daily quality checks of products.
*Must be able to stand for 8 hour shifts and lift at least 50 lbs.
Please come to the restaurant Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays between 1pm-3pm to fill out an application and meet with the chef. If you are unable to make it during the listed days and times please call the restaurant and ask for Chef Victor.
