We are looking for a responsible and enthusiastic Class A CDL Driver to transport 20' and 40' containers to and from our customers worksites Monday through Friday from our Spokane, WA branch. You will represent Pacific Mobile in a professional, customer-focused and quality manner to assist in increasing profitability and customer satisfaction. Wage Range: $28+ per hour DOE **Additional opportunities for Monthly Safety Driver Award and Driver of the Year Award.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Transport containers to and from customer sites
- Confirm delivery/pickup date and time with customer
- Maintain delivery vehicle stock material levels
- Load and unload containers using a chain or cable driven system
- Complete and maintain daily paperwork as required by branch
- Site checks for potential unit deliveries
- Compliance with all DOT and state regulations
- Notify supervisor when licenses and permits are approaching renewal date
- Maintain professional appearance of vehicle
- Notify supervisor when service or repairs are required
- Operate a forklift to load and unload containers
- Move, stack, and organize container in yard
- Sweep and pressure wash containers
- Complete basic repairs on containers
- Deliver outstanding customer service to our guests and your co-workers
- Work with the Maintenance Manager and/or Lead Maintenance Techs for completing various daily assignments
- Work throughout the property on cleaning and maintenance projects
- Perform high quality general maintenance and repairs to the interior/exterior of buildings and property
- Perform basic and intermediate carpentry tasks
- Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs
- Perform plumbing troubleshooting and repairs
- Perform drywall and painting repairs
- Report any major repair needs to the Maintenance Manager
- Maintain public spaces and working areas in a safe, clean, and organized manner
- Respond to service calls in modular units for guests, as needed
- Learn through on-the-job training additional maintenance skills taught by qualified personnel
- Secondary Responsibilities:
- Transport mobile offices to and from customer sites as needed
- Install and dismantle mobile office at customer sites as needed
- Install/remove foundation anchorage systems as needed
- Load/Unload units with foundation materials and entry systems as needed
- Order trip permits as needed
- Coordinate pilot cars as needed
- Shop and yard work as assigned by manager (including building repairs and maintenance, shop, and yard upkeep, etc.)
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL with 3+ years of experience
- Forklift certified or able to achieve certification
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move 25 to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds each day.
- Ability to drive for up to eight hours per day with frequent stops
- Positions one-self in order to work on all areas of the building including bending and stooping.
- Ability to work more than 40 hours per week and up to 12 hours per day.
