Position Overview (NOTE - This is an on-site position, with daily office hours of 9am - 6pm.)
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources and Operations Manager to lead our HR and Operations functions. This role will play a critical part in ensuring that our people and operational practices align with our strategic goals.
This role manages everything from employee benefits to payroll, recruiting, day-to-day office operations, and vendor relationships. The role will require strategic leadership, an eye for operational efficiency, and a deep understanding of HR best practices. You will work directly with leadership, contributing to both short and long-term planning for our growing company.
Key Responsibilities
-Operations: Manage various aspects of day-to-day operations, including overseeing the internal approval process of key documents and expense/payment approvals
-Facilities: Oversee all office/building issues including maintenance and vendor relationships
-Payroll and Compliance: Oversee all domestic and international payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including managing visa and immigration issues.
-Employee Benefits: Establish and manage employee benefit programs, including negotiating with carriers for health/dental and other benefits. Manage Cafeteria plans, 401K plans, and simple POP plans.
-Recruitment: Lead and manage the recruitment and onboarding of new employees, ensuring our hiring process is inclusive, efficient, and attracts top talent.
-HR & Operations Policy Development: Develop and maintain HR and Operations policies, procedures, programs, and services in alignment with local and international regulatory compliance and immigration policies.
-Insurance: Handle all insurance policy negotiations, renewals, and implementation of new policies.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience:
-Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR and operations experience, with at least 5 years in a management role.
-Strong experience with payroll processing, employee benefits management, and compliance with regulatory standards.
-Proven success handling employee matters such as disciplinary actions and terminations, as well as employee development
Preferred Qualifications
-Prior experience in the telecommunications and/or technology industries
-Prior experience in a public company setting
-Experience with H1B Visas
-Certifications: PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP, or equivalent highly preferred.
