Modernize Power is looking for an experienced Commercial Electrician to join our Commercial Power Installation team! We install power generation equipment including commercial backup generators, solar PV systems, and batteries. We are a growing company that services small to mid-size commercial markets. Applicant qualifications:
• Certified Electrician, C10, or Journeymen card – Please provide upon application
• Have solid electrical field experience and knowledge in general construction. Some experience in excavation, plumbing, framing, etc. is a plus
• Have a solid understanding of NEC and experience working with building inspectors.
• Always maintain a professional and courteous appearance and attitude.
• Work well in a team environment, help educate teammates, and always be willing to learn.
• Be punctual, organized, and productive.
• Self-motivated and willing to do what it takes to help your teammates get the job done right.
• A Good driving record is a must as you will be driving company vehicles.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Installation of backup power generators and battery systems.
• Assembly and installation of solar PV systems, including inverters and batteries.
• Install switchgear, sub panels, and conduit
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Consistently perform high-quality work in a cost-effective manner.
We typically work (4) 10-hour days with the opportunity for overtime on some Fridays. Occasional OT may be required. Most installations are local work, but there will 25-30% travel, typically in Northern CA .
