Established local supplier of fresh specialty mushrooms in LA seeks an enthusiastic confectioner chef with formal gummy experience to partner with us and create the recipe for a delicious ultra high quality nutraceutical gummy to be marketed nationally. You would work to improve and elevate an existing recipe. This is a finite project, initially, from a few days to a few weeks, with the endpoint being the recipe. But there is the potential for an ongoing role once we go to production in Q1 2025. Experience with gummies and similar confections is essential. We're looking for an enthusiastic person with a refined palate who can start work soon, work quickly and intensively, and tweak the recipe until we have perfected it.
Can work in one's own kitchen, but would meet with us after each recipe change, as frequently as daily, to taste with us and plan the next step.
