Baylor College of Medicine at The Children's Hospital of San Antonio is seeking a faculty member to fill a Full-time position in the Department of Pediatrics, Section of Gastroenterology. This position comes with a faculty appointment within the Department of Pediatrics, a competitive salary, and full benefits package.

Physicians in the Section of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition treat children suffering from a wide range of intestinal, liver, pancreatic and nutritional disorders and will also provide out-patient clinical care, in- patient coverage and in-patient consultation at CH of SA.

Job Duties

Outpatient clinical care for children with all types of intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic and nutritional disorders.
Inpatient care, consultation, and emergency room consultation for children with all types of intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic and nutritional disorders.
General pediatric gastrointestinal procedures (e.g., upper endoscopy and colonoscopy with related therapeutic procedures).

Minimum Qualifications

M.D., Ph.D. / M.D. / D.O. degree, or equivalent
Completion of an ACGME approved fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology (or equivalent)
Licensed by the Texas Medical Board
Board Certification by the American Board of Pediatrics, subspecialty certification in pediatric gastroenterology medicine (or eligible for same)
