CA Dental & Medical CPA is a rapidly growing accounting firm specializing in providing tax and accounting services to healthcare professionals, including those who own their own offices or work as contractors. All of our clients operate through S Corporations.
We are seeking an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team and play a vital role in serving our clients while helping us continue our growth.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and file S Corporation and personal tax returns for healthcare professionals.
• Ensure accurate closing of balance sheets and profit & loss statements based on GAAP standards.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary documents and information.
• Prepare tax returns using Drake Software (experience with similar software is acceptable).
• File 1099s for clients.
• Communicate with the IRS and California Franchise Tax Board (FTB) as needed.
• Answer client tax-related questions.

Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of experience preparing S Corporation and personal tax returns.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and their application in closing financial statements.
• Experience with Drake Software or similar tax preparation platforms.
• Excellent communication skills for client interactions.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Knowledge of filing 1099s and resolving tax issues with the IRS and FTB.
