Pharmacy Account Manager

Location: Must be located within 50 miles of the Pulsepoints listed below. Position has both office/remote expectations.

The Pharmacy Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with external clients and prospects, and reaching internal health plan penetration goals through the use of strong consultative skills.

How you will make an impact:

Supports the strategic sales and tactical plans by consulting with key decision makers and operational stakeholders in the region.
Provides ongoing support to regional decision makers and support pharmacy benefit management (PBM) field sales team during request for proposal (RFP) processes.
Assists in the development of recommendations for outcomes-based savings, revenue opportunities and meeting internal health plan penetration goals.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 3 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Capabilities, Skills and Experiences:

A Pharmacy License or equivalent service in specialty Rx arena is strongly preferred.
Experience working in/with TPA preferred.
Experience working in the labor market preferred.
Ability to travel 25% preferred.
PBM experience.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $123,228 to $211,248

Locations: District of Columbia (Washington, DC); Maryland, New York
