Description

As part of the product organization, the Product Line Manager will be responsible for assisting the GM of the high reliability capacitors portfolio develop and execute the product line growth strategy for the Valencia CA facility. The candidate is expected to work with cross functional teams driving internal and external resources for the timely fulfillment of customer requirements, internal projects and internal information requests.

Taking inputs from the GM of Hi-Rel Capacitors, Applications Engineering and Sales, the Product Line Manager will drive product roadmap planning and implementation at a site level.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the team contributing to the continued growth of this high end, life critical, component portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with GM of Hi-Rel Capacitors to implement priorities at a site level with operations and engineering
Determine the value propositions of individual products in the product line
Drive internal and external resources to support customer product fulfillment and to solve customer issues in a timely manner.
Advocate for excellence in line performance, site voice of customer:
- Timely quotations
- Line efficiency
- On time delivery
- Defect-free product
Feed into marketing strategy and work with the sales team to achieve design wins at target customers.
- Engage with customers, engineering, sales, customer service, and factory for the delivery of quotations, samples, and information in support of new business development
Work closely with site operations team on production and SIOP planning
Develop product roadmap that outlines short and long-term strategies for sub-product lines
Monitor competitive products and capabilities as input to new product/capabilities development
Coordinate resources to deliver product improvements, new products, and capabilities to meet current and emerging market needs.
Work with Product Marketing to develop assets and sales tools to facilitate selling of Hi-Rel Capacitor products and capabilities
Any other duties that may be assigned

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering discipline
Experience in electrical components manufacturing environments preferred, experience in ceramic capacitors a plus
Ability to understand business strategies/goals, complex products and reinterpret in a way that is meaningful, relevant and consistent with the target audiences
Ability to draw inferences and use deductive reasoning with no prescribed procedures to solve complex problems
Ability to be flexible in a very fluid and dynamic environment including dealing with changing processes and priorities
Understanding of global and domestic market trend, sensitivity to new technologies and passion to influence internal and external customers.
Outstanding prioritization and project management skills
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams
Strong analytical, quantitative and deductive skills
Good interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
Comfortable as a team player and also able to work independently
Able to work in a dynamic, high-pace environment
2+ years of Product marketing, technical marketing, FAE/AE or technical sales experience; industry experience related to medical and or military market.
All applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without restriction to ITAR documentation and materials.
Must be a U.S. citizen. This position requires the ability to call on customers with ITAR restrictions.
Strong PC skills; competency with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel
Ability to travel up to 25%+ of the time.
Ability to work non-traditional hours.

One element in our total compensation package is base pay. The starting salary for this role is targeted to be between $100,000 and $150,000 per year.
