Ensure you are always in the right place to maximize business, and most importantly manage your energy and allocate it to people and projects that best serve the needs of the business.
Know when you are needed (and when you are not).
Product knowledge is everywhere, take the initiative to learn about the brands you are selling- share your knowledge.
Be familiar with our brands and like what we sell, if you don't we can still be friends, but it will make selling much harder and not nearly as much fun!
Capture client info to drive repeat business.
Speak "Marin" our customers love visiting and locals love living here. The more you know about this beautiful place we call home, the better.

We will also need you to have:
3+ years of sales experience in specialty retail.
College credentials are preferred, but ability, availability, and attitude trump all. We appreciate a college degree but prefer raw talent.
Tech Savvy, we cannot teach this (we've tried).
We use MS Office, iPhones, iPads, Google Docs, Outlook – must be familiar with all.
POINT of SALE EXPERIENCE (if you happen to know LIGHTSPEED be sure to let us know)!
Experience processing freight and stock replenishment.

Keeping the store looking great is everyone's responsibility if you are not familiar with retail standards, no need to apply. Our store appearance is as important as our volume. These are competing priorities and you have to be comfortable with maximizing sales while keeping the store to our standards.

Last on the list:

Ability to work a retail schedule - albeit a pretty sweet one. We can talk about what works best for this role.
Must be fit and be able to bend, reach, and stretch for product, as well as lift, carry, and move at least 30 pounds.
Note: We do not sit during our shifts.
Must have reliable transportation and child care if applicable.
