Milestone Property Management is seeking a full-time maintenance technician for our 80-unit apartment community in Scappoose, Oregon.

Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 2-years experience and skills in a variety of maintenance disciplines, from painting to changing light fixtures, plumbing, drywall, etc. This is a position for all ages and diversities, so mature job seekers, military experienced candidates and anyone with the requisite skillset is encouraged to apply.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
●Patrol grounds and laundry facilities on a daily basis to pick up trash, maintain cleanliness and curb appeal of the property, and report and safety concerns to community manager.
●Maintenance/repairs in occupied apartments
●Turnover painting and maintenance of vacant apartments in a timely and efficient manner
●Respond to after-hours emergency repairs
●Performing assigned tasks in a self-directed and quality manner with moderate supervision
●Follow company policies/procedures
●Adhere to local and state Landlord and Fair Housing laws

QUALIFICATIONS:
●MInimum of 2-years experience in apartment/facilities maintenance in a related field making repairs, or training in construction or building maintenance.
●Excellent customer service skills
●Ability to work both independently and as a productive member of a team
●Ability to work effectively with people of diverse personalities, cultures and communication styles
● Ability to follow instructions accurately and to problem solve effectively
●Must have own vehicle, current driver's license, registration and proof of insurance
●Must have own tools
