Job Summary
Responsible for preparation of project submittal including printing types and deadline timeframes. Responsible to work with a single project manager to work as a team to produce and implement construction documents.
Creates electrical construction documents based upon red-lines given from project manager.
Occasional travel required within the San Diego limits. May conduct field site surveys to review existing and new conditions.
Identifies, analyzes and implements office CAD standards.
Develops and recommends new CAD methods to improve office standards.

Education / Experience Requirements:
2 years of CAD engineering preferred experience
Certified CAD 2010 education preferred
Engineering design experience preferred
MS Word and Excel

The ideal candidate will also have a combination of the following:
Experience using CAD for design production documents. Must exercise time management and work well with others in a small team environment.
Experience in AutoCAD 2010 and be proficient in existing commands, standards and plotting management.
Understanding of basic electrical systems and desire to learn systems design and implementation.
Previous experience in electrical and lighting design, and implementation. Previous experience with Title 24 and lighting systems is a plus
Familiarity associated Microsoft programs and has good well rounded computer skills.
