Driver needed for 26' Box Truck with Liftgate

Location: Manteca, CA

Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced driver to operate a 26' box truck with a liftgate for overnight routes. The work involves driving 150-500 miles round trip per night, making this position ideal for someone who is comfortable with nighttime driving and covering varying distances.

Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate a 26' box truck with a liftgate to deliver goods on designated routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working order.
• Load and unload cargo using a pallet jack and ensuring that it is safely secured.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Maintain communication with dispatch and customers, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Complete delivery logs and necessary documentation.
• Must have a smartphone for receiving load information from dispatchers. The phone must not be used while driving but should be accessible for checking load details during stops.
• ALL LOADS MUST BE PICKED UP AND DELIVERED ON TIME!

Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience, preferably with box trucks.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work overnight shifts and cover routes ranging from 150-500 miles per night.
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines.
• Physically able to load and unload cargo as needed.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 100 lbs.
• Current medical exam and drug test is mandatory.
• Basic computer skills for completing delivery
- Basic knowledge of using navigation on a mobile phone and the ability to communicate using an app.
