Driver’s load, secure, drive, and unload heavy equipment and components to customer locations, and suppliers related to the construction industry. This position is highly demanding and requires resilience and a strong commitment.

• Ability to safely and promptly unload a wide variety of heavy machinery with little to no supervision
several times a day.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment like graders, scrapers, booms, and loaders
and experience hauling Landoll trailers/specialized equipment trailers.
* 16 Tire - 5 axle trailer experience a must
• Ability to properly secure cargo using chains and load-binding/understand working load limits
• Maintain a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Self-motivated, coachable, show honesty and integrity.
• Pay is based on a percentage of load, based on experience, and efficiency.
• Twic card for port access.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and have good time management.
• Strong desire to keep Truck and Trailer well maintained and clean.
• Must be able to perform strenuous work outdoors in all types of weather.
• Inspecting trucks before and after each trip, identifying mechanical issues needing repair.
• Attention to detail, great communication, and following directions from the dispatcher.
• Familiar with permits and curfew times.
• Early start times must be able to work extended hours
• Following traffic laws, maintaining safe driving habits, and sharing road awareness with other motorists.

Required Skills:
• Class A CDL license with current DOT Medical Card
• Minimum age 25
• 5 years of experience driving experience
• 3 years of experience hauling construction equipment
• Clean driving record - No accidents/violations in the past 3 years
• Ability to pass pre-employment/random drug testing.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds.
• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Ability to safely climb up and on trucks and equipment.
