Poached Kitchen in Irvine is seeking a dedicated and efficient Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients and assisting with food preparation to ensure the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a passion for food, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and wash vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients as per recipes.
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes.
- Assist in cooking food items and ensure they are prepared to the required standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas.
- Ensure all food is stored properly to maintain freshness and safety.
- Follow health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Assist chefs and cooks with various tasks as needed.
- Participate in inventory management and stock rotation.

**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items as needed.
