Financial Bookkeeper

RX3 Communications, Inc. A growing Federal Government based Communications Contractor is seeking a full-time bookkeeper for their Reno, NV Office. 5 Plus years of financial experience and strong Quickbooks experience is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensuring that the financial records are accurate
• Ensuring that every expense is properly documented
• Ensuring that the books of accounts are compiled by the end of the month and year.
• Ensuring that there is fiscal responsibility within the firm’s operations
• Responsible for the budgetary control in a specific firm
• Corresponds with the senior management regarding any financial decisions that are made
• Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
• Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits; providing information to external auditors.
• Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans.
• Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying telecom tax and compliance requirements and filings.
• Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.

Skills and Specifications:
• A strong understanding of the accounting principles
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Extensive Knowledge of QuickBooks Financial Software
