Sportsman & Ski Haus is looking for shop tech and rental techs to work in our Coeur d’Alene ski and snowboard shop. Previous tech experience is preferred, but not required. Effective communication, willingness to work as team and excellent interpersonal skills are essential. Must be dependable and like working in a great environment.

Key Accountabilities:

Mounting, adjusting and tuning ski bindings
Greet each customer as they enter the shop area for assistance and thank them as they exit
Teamwork oriented with the ability to work in a product learning environment
Strong sense of pride and responsibility for the maintenance and organization of counter areas
Maintain high awareness of surroundings to provide safe and secure environment

Skills Summary:

Enjoy connecting with customers and demonstrating an enthusiastic and positive attitude
Ability to operate POS system with accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities and quickly learning new procedures
Demonstrate knowledge of store products and services, and apply training to ensure safety
Ability to meet or exceed customer service standards.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers and management
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including morning, evening and weekend availability
Must be able to stand for extended periods and bend repeatedly throughout shift
The ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the willingness to get the job at hand done.
Adhere to Loss Prevention control and compliance procedures
Job Description and Details:

Part-time 2-5 days/week 12 - 28 hours/week. Full-time (4-5 days, 36-40 hrs/week)
