Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized, bilingual Front Desk Receptionist to join our team here at Surgical Quality Specialists. This pivotal role serves as the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Duties
• Greet and assist visitors and clients as they arrive, providing excellent customer service.
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.
• Manage scheduling and appointments, ensuring efficient use of time for staff and clients.
• Logging all phone call communications with patients into patient chart
• Maintain an organized front desk area, including filing and managing office supplies.
• Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, typing documents, and proofreading materials for accuracy.
• Provide support to other departments as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
• Utilize computerized systems for record-keeping and appointment management.
• Communicate effectively with clients in both English and Spanish (if applicable).
• Answering Phone calls with appropriate greeting and handling calls appropriately
• Updating our contact list in our EMR
• Adding new patients into EMR from authorizations.
• Scheduling and confirming Clinic Appointments.
• Collect patient co-pays, and any other charges that are flagged.
• Obtaining patient records when necessary (labs, imaging or other records from PCP).
• Uploading intake forms into patient charts, adding information to patients profile.
• Checking patients into their clinic appointments.

Requirements
• Experience in customer service or office management is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to proofread documents for clarity and accuracy.
• Experience as a medical office receptionist is a plus but not required.
• Bilingual candidates (Spanish) are highly encouraged to apply.
