public contacts, clean locations with restrooms and
and lunchrooms
Use your own personal vehicle for $5.00/hour tax-free
reimbursement
At jewelry store: Standing post, outside except bad weather
At church: Some walking, almost all inside, sitting down
Very impressive green/tan uniforms… nothing dorky here!
Very active enforcement environment… not boring

Sacramento (Marysville Bl. near Dry Creek Rd.)
Citrus Heights (Near Greenback & I-80)
Other sites from Grass Valley to Vallejo (Very rarely worked)
Jewelry stores: Sacramento (Stockton Bl. near Florin Rd.)
Rocklin (Lonetree Bl. near Sunset Bl.)
Church site near Baseline & Fiddyment in southwest Roseville

DUTY SCHEDULE: Basic assignment is part-time, as needed coverage, with full-
time work possible – All daytime and early evening shifts
3 to 9+ hours per day available, up to 6 days a week
Cemetery patrols hours from 1200 to 1730, 1830, 1900 or 2030
Standing post at jewelry stores run 1100-1900 or 1045-1645
Sitting post at church runs 0800 to 1200 on Tuesdays only
Additional hours, duty types and locations may be available

REQUIRED CREDENTIALS: California Driver’s License - Minimum of Class “C”
Guard/Patrolperson Registration
Exposed Firearm Permit
Baton Permit
Tear Gas Permit
First Aid & CPR/AED Certification, EMT a big plus
1 year verfiable armed experience
High school diploma or equivalent

(SOME REQUIREMENTS MAY BE WAIVED FOR SHARP CANDIDATES)
REQUIRED RESOURCES: Semi-automatic pistol (no less than 9mm.) with at least
3 magazines (no less than 6 rounds each)
Baton (any legal type)
4oz. OC pepper (foam or gel type)
Metal reusable handcuffs and keys
Service flashlight
Nylon Duty Gear
Boots (Black, nylon/leather or leather, at least 8” tall)
Reliable personal (not public) transportation to work
Quiet and presentable vehicle for cemetery patrols

COMPENSATION: DAY/EVENING SHIFTS: Total $26.00/hour – (Starting wage
$20/hour, plus $5.00/hour tax-free for vehicle
reimbursement and $1/hour tax-free allowance for uniform
maintenance, equipment and training, supplies & licensing)
