Join the TapRoom Coffee Shop team! We are seeking a customer-oriented Barista to add to our small barista team. Located in front of TapRoom Beer Co., our baristas are responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages and snacks. Your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and passion for coffee will contribute to creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and more
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Operate Clover and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines
- Assist with food preparation, such as pastries, and other snacks
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
- Stay updated on new coffee trends, products, and brewing techniques

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with cash register operations and cash handling procedures
- Basic knowledge of POS system is a plus
- Basic math skills for calculating orders and handling cash transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
We offer competitive pay rates based on experience. This position is part-time with the possibility of working up to 30 hours/week.
